Day 65

Gloooomy days are back in Maine, booo for that! Trying to get more of Jay's invites done..I have decided to make them myself! They are going to be super cute, but I still have a long ways to go! I need to get on it ASAP and get these finished up! The bday is almost a month away! EEEPS! I am almost a mommy to a 3 year old...yikes!

Day 64

Lookie at the 1st birthday present I bought for Jay's 3rd birthday! SO stoked on it! Of course with daddy being a tattoo artist he is majorly excited and impressed by tattoos and I know he will be so pumped and daddy is too! :)

Missing him...

I have been missing my daddy like crazy lately, it's been about a year and a half since he passed away. Father's Day is coming up the 19th of this month and June 20th is his birthday which makes it so much harder. Jay has been asking about going fishing with grandpa alot lately, and it is just breaking my heart into a million pieces! My dad LOVED to fish and to think that he won't be there teaching Jay to fish for the first time just kills me. He would have loved doing that so much, its just right up his alley! He would have been so amazed with how smart and witty Jay has become, and of course kay he would have been completely in love with, he always had a soft spot for little girls (I think because I was his only child he raised and his baby girl). I hate that he never got to meet my sweet girl. I miss him so much and I just keep feeling like its not fair that I'm only 25 and my dad is gone. I want him here so bad to be able to watch these babies grow up and interact with them and be a grandpa to them! My heart hurts and Id do anything to get one of those amazing big bear hugs from him and hear his voice.

Day 63

It is HOT outside today! We went outside for a while to play, but didn't last too long! The babes were just fussy in that kind of heat, I really want to get a plastic pool for them for days like this but I dont think I can fit it in my car :( I gotta figure out how to get one asap! Anyhow here are a few photos from today...

Day 62

We spent the day outside again, I just soaked up the sun and tried to get my tan on! I finally decided to paint kay kay's toe nails! They are so stinking cute!

Day 61

we spent the day out enjoying the weather! BBQ'd when kev got home, then his friends Myles and Katie came over and we had some yummy burgers and hot dogs and watched the Bruins dominate! Katie did my hair and I am much blonder now! :) Here are some photos..

Day 60

We had a nice lazy morning at home! Then got ready and headed to the carnival! Jay had such a blast! He went on all of the rides for his size and played a basketball game and made all 3 shots himself and won a prize! :) It was a super warm day and me and kev both ended up getting sunburnt! And we ended it off with some yummy fried dough! It was lots of fun! I have really fond memories of going to carnivals and fairs with my parents and I want to always make fun memories for my babies doing things like that also! Here are some photos from today...
